How OfficeCred Works

OfficeCred helps you build a stronger professional profile through anonymous feedback from past colleagues. The process is simple: create your profile, collect responses, and turn that feedback into a clearer professional credibility signal.

The Process

1

Create your profile

Start with your LinkedIn profile URL to set up your OfficeCred profile.

2

Invite past colleagues

People you have worked with can respond to short reference-style polls about your professional strengths and working style.

3

Receive anonymous feedback

Responses remain anonymous, helping colleagues share honest input while protecting individual privacy.

4

Build your OfficeCred

As feedback is collected, your profile becomes a stronger summary of how others experienced working with you across key professional traits.

What We Measure

Our 6 categories are based on established hiring frameworks covering the professional qualities that matter most.

Competence

How effective are they at their core job?

Reliability

Critical deadline. Would you want them on your team?

Character

How do they treat people with less power?

Leadership

Do they make people around them better?

Collaboration

Are they a team player?

Communication

Can they explain complex ideas clearly?

How Scoring Works

Bronze

Solid performer

Score Calculation

1

Individual Category Scores

Each poll response is converted to a score (0-100). Multiple responses are averaged.

2

Composite Score

The 6 category scores are averaged equally to produce one composite score.

3

Tier Assignment

Composite score + response count determines your OfficeCred tier (Gold, Silver, Bronze).

Your Privacy is Sacred

Truly Anonymous

We never store any link between a respondent's identity and their poll responses. Not even we can trace responses back to an individual.

Minimum Threshold

Scores are only displayed after a minimum number of responses to prevent identification through elimination.

No Individual Responses

Only aggregated scores are shown. Individual poll responses are never revealed to anyone.

Verified Colleagues

Future: Responses from verified colleagues (same company) may carry more weight for additional credibility.

Why this helps

OfficeCred is designed to help candidates present more than self-written claims. It adds structured, colleague-backed proof that can make a profile more credible and more useful in hiring contexts. Your resume says who you are — OfficeCred helps show how people experienced working with you.
